I read your blog because you post useful (profitable) information, e.g., “10 Tips for Optimizing MySQL Queries (That don't suck),” not because you post interesting information. I enjoy reading your opinions because they are supported with tables, charts, and numbers, e.g., “The State of the Facebook Platform.” For this reason 20bits is a credible source of technews, superior to the empty, yet interesting, opinions of Nick Gonzalez, et al.

Another tip: Lists work very well.
